I had quite a mixed experience at Britannia Bournemouth Hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, but I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the room and common areas. While the location near the beach was great, the overall state of the hotel left much to be desired.

Rooms

My room was in dire need of cleaning and maintenance. The bed was uncomfortable, with springs sticking out, and the bathroom had stains and mould issues. It was not the standard I expected.

The staff were professional, but I felt that the level of customer service could have been much better, especially upon check-in. There were issues that were not addressed properly.

The hotel facilities seemed outdated, and the overall cleanliness was not up to standard. The carpets were dirty, and the lifts were not well maintained.

5.0/10

I recently stayed at Britannia Bournemouth Hotel for a few nights, and while it was clean and the staff were friendly, I faced a couple of downsides. The location is great, just a short walk from the beach and town center, but the lack of parking and the smelly reception really put a damper on things. Overall, it was a budget stay that had its perks but definitely room for improvement.

Dining

I enjoyed the buffet meals for both breakfast and dinner. especially the option for gluten-free toast upon request. However, the options for non-meat eaters could be improved.

My stay at the Britannia Bournemouth Hotel was quite disappointing. While the location was convenient and close to the beach, the rooms left much to be desired with cleanliness and maintenance issues. The service from the staff was also lacking in warmth and helpfulness. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. 😕

The room I was given was in appalling condition. Dead maggots on the ceiling, damp walls, and a stinky atmosphere made for an uncomfortable stay. The replacement room was slightly better, but still had its own issues.
